Family Planning
The mission of the Family Planning program is to provide family planning services to men and woman of reproductive age. The clinic accepts Medicaid payments and private pay. A sliding fee scale, based on client's income, had been established to assist low-income families to obtain services. You will be asked what your gross income of the household is as well as how many people in the household are you responsible for. In addition, grant funds are available for those who meet certain eligibility requirements.
Education & Counseling
All clients will receive the education and counseling to make a personal choice. All services are confidential. Education and counseling are directed toward health promotion and disease prevention.
Medical Services
- Physical exam
- Pap smear
- Breast cancer screening
- Sexually transmitted disease (STD) testing for Gonorrhea and Chlamydia according to the Illinois Department of Public Health guidelines
Blood pressure, weight, height, urine, hematocrit and pregnancy tests are available, if needed.
Emergency Contraception
Emergency contraception (Plan B) and birth control is available at our clinic site.
